The patent was published on Tuesday, Apple seems to be likely to engage in real-time gesture that will include proposals to hand over the device than actually touching. It can be difficult to visualize, but try and picture of everyday gestures such as "OK" and "thumbs up" gesture as recognized by the iPhone 5 (or whatever device they decide to implement it with). These gestures will allow the user of the device to use a phone with more ease than a finger and can be set to allow for frequent applications or features.
Wayne Westerman and Myra Haggerty is credited with hover-technology patent, which was filed 13th June 2007. One question that arises is whether Apple deliberately waited until their devices are effective and stable enough to handle the hover gesture technology, or if Apple is interested in this technology recently. Apple CEO Steve Jobs is known for publishing, obviously, hundreds of patents, which went to the iPhone. However, they also have faced numerous injury claims of companies that claim ownership of some of its attributes.
It is not certain if iPhone 5 will soar, gestures (especially after reports of a patent was only recently released), but it is still likely to eventually be embedded in the IOS update, or neštolinija that. It's still great news for all of us iPhone fanatics out there because it just proves Apple longstanding commitment to constant innovation. We hope to see this as soon as possible!
