So what are the common courtesy rules when using a mobile phone?
1 Do not talk and drive.
2 No need to shout, that the phone is not a mega phone, it is very bad behavior, be softly spoken, your phone has a very sensitive microphone.
3 Turn it off until the movies, in restaurants, at church, at a concert in hospitals, libraries and anywhere else it might break.
4 Please, please turn it off on your day! You seem popular, you'll look like a tool and poorly educated one at that.
5 All of those guidelines relating to SMS, as well.
6 Remember to keep your cell private conversations, step outside when it is in society, and do not forget that excuse when you do.
7 Obnoxious tone, well .. obnoxious, we do not want to hear the sounds of flatulence, or the sounds of machine gun fire, bad sound = bad manners, please no need to ring so loudly as if they all jump.
cell phone has become a very widely used very quickly, we actually had a chance to get it for them and I suspect some people are still coming to grips with the very basic cell phone etiquette. When in doubt put the phone to vibrate, so you can see who is calling and a note to call them or go for a more private place to talk, to have a good cell phone manners is just common sense.
